WHY IS TEAM DECISION-MAKING IMPORTANT?

The fundamental requirement of a high-performing team is it's ability to make effective decisions.  Grant teaches individuals and teams how to make more effective decisions by thinking and acting Strategically, Critically and Collaboratively (SCC).  SCC thinking is critical to a teams ability to drive change and innovation and achieve Bold Unique Goals.

Grant helps teams understand the relationships between their intuition and their rational thought processes, the strengths and weaknesses (biases and errors) which self-consciously inhibit all of our judgement and practical techniques and thinking styles to improve our individual and team decision making effectiveness.

WHY IS AN EXPLORER'S MINDSET RELEVANT TO BUSINESS?

In the increasingly competitive and fast paced world of business, the ability to successfully innovate has become crucial to not only thrive but even survive!

In the world of adventure, innovators are termed 'explorers'.  Successful explorers have unique and powerful mindsets.  We need to not only think creatively to come up with innovative solutions, but have the mindsets and the skillsets to drive these ideas through into reality.  We need to implement these visions of what others often think impossible and turn them into achievable goals.

Grant's expeditions have grown from projects involving a few days and a few hundred dollars to massive exploratory projects, full of risk and uncertainty, spanning years with S$500,000 budgets and large networks of sponsors.  The highly uncertain and risky nature adds enormous challenge and complexity to navigating the 'business' of exploration and Grant shares these powerful lessons he has learned and earned from experience with your teams so you too can drive successful innovation.
